Two tonnes of human poo found on Mount Everest

Around 1,000 people attempt to clamber up Mount Everest every year. Camps along the way help them rest and refuel as they make their way up the world’s tallest mountain. However, the climbers leave behind tonnes of cooking equipment, mountain-climbing gear and even poo. Since April, a team of 30 Tibetan mountaineers have been clearing up other people’s mess. They have collected 5.2 tonnes of household waste, one tonne of mountaineering trash and 2.3 tonnes of human poo. So, what do you think? Is this true or are we just causing a big stink?*…
