A new Government campaign aiming to inspire children and parents to get active and exercise together during the summer holidays has started. The 10-Minute Shake Up scheme was launched on 25 July by the Government’s Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID). The campaign recommends that children and young people should be active for at least one hour each day, and the idea of the campaign is to break the hour down into chunks and make it fun by playing games inspired by Disney, Pixar and Marvel films. It has created a series of more than 40 games that take around 10 minutes each.
