Canada New technology to track polar bears Scientists have found a new way to monitor polar bears. Tracking tags can be attached to bears’ ears but the bears must be caught for these to be removed. The new tags stick in fur and fall off naturally after a few weeks. The tags will help scientists learn more about the animals and protect people as the bears spend more time on land. New York, US Dinosaur skeleton breaks record A fossilised dinosaur skeleton has been sold for almost £35 million at auction – the most that has ever been paid for a fossil.
