Rugby referee honoured

Former rugby referee Nigel Owens has been given an honorary degree from the University of Bath, in England, making him a Doctor of Health. Owens, who is from Wales, was praised for his contribution to rugby and for raising awareness of mental health issues. In 2007, he announced that he was gay, which no top referee had done before. At his graduation, Owens shared some advice with students, saying, “Don’t try to be perfect… become a good person.”…
