PM’s new Covid plan for England

The UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, has announced that coronavirus restrictions in England should be lifted from 19 July. What did the PM say? On 5 July, Johnson announced that the Government plans to lift all coronavirus restrictions on 19 July. This means there will be no limits on indoor or outdoor gatherings, or for the number of people allowed into theatres and sport events. Nor will there be any legal requirement to wear a face mask or socially distance. People will still be expected to self-isolate if they test positive for coronavirus.
