PROTECT SEA BIRDS

Working with police and other coastal agencies, animal charity the RSPCA has launched a campaign called Operation Seabird aimed at protecting birds and other wildlife found around the UK coast. Covid travel restrictions mean that more British people are expected to be holidaying in the UK this summer – and many will be heading for the seaside. However, some marine activities, such as water-skiing and sightseeing boat trips, can disturb wildlife and disrupt the vital breeding season.
