Bake sale for dementia

Name: Romy A few years ago my grandpa Hellmut or “Oldie”, as he wanted to be called in his later years, slowly began to develop dementia and died in 2020 because of it. He was on my mind during the autumn holidays and I wanted to do something about it, so I decided to host a bake sale at my school! I did a talk about dementia and mentioned my grandpa’s experience in front of the entire school. Then, on 13 December, kids and teachers brought cakes, brownies, cookies and so many other delicious things in support of the charity (Alzheimer’s Society).
