Project boosts pine martens

Pine martens in parts of the UK are thriving thanks to a joint conservation project. In 2014, the Vincent Wildlife Trust and Forestry and Land Scotland started moving some pine martens from Scottish forests, where the animals are doing well, to areas in England and Wales where they had almost disappeared. Forestry and Land Scotland’s Kenny Kortland said, “By restoring missing species, we improve the health and resilience of our forests.”…
