Wicked continues to defy gravity

The 2024 film Wicked has been nominated for an impressive 10 Oscars. The Oscars, also known as the Academy Awards, are the most famous awards in the movie industry and are nearly 100 years old. This year’s awards ceremony will take place on 2 March, in Hollywood in the US. Wicked is based on the musical of the same name. It tells the story of Glinda and Elphaba, who became the Good Witch of the North and the Wicked Witch of the West in the 1939 movie The Wizard of Oz, which was based on a novel by L. Frank Baum.
