Artist aims for the stars

Elizabeth Norman, from Leicester, England, is feeling on top of the world after a sticker she designed was carried into space. The 10-year-old, who is known on social media as Astro Liz, attracted the attention of US company Astrobotic in 2021 after she made a two-metre model rocket and launched it in her family’s garden. Astrobotic asked Elizabeth to design a sticker that could go to the Moon on its Peregrine Lunar Lander. The lander left Earth on 8 January but because of a technical problem, it didn’t get all the way to the Moon. However, Elizabeth can still say that her sticker made it into space.…
