Faith leaders work together

On 11 February, King Charles announced that Jewish and Muslim faith leaders in the UK had signed an agreement. Chief Rabbi (Jewish religious leader) Sir Ephraim Mirvis said the agreement was important in “rebuilding trust between Muslim and Jewish communities”. Relations between some communities had become strained during the Israel-Hamas conflict. Qari Asim, an imam (Muslim religious leader), said the agreement “can be a beacon of hope and peace”. King Charles described the meeting as “marvellous”.…
