Describe this book in three words… Adventure, time travel, friendship. Favourite Egyptian myth? I’m fascinated by the Siren of the Nile, the Naddaha. She lives in the River Nile and calls out to people (especially men) after nightfall. Drawn by her irresistible voice, the unlucky fellows end up in her clutches. Where would you visit if you could time travel? I would love to uncover the mystery of how the pyramids were built. What sort of mythical creature would you most like as a pet? A sphinx might be a bit frustrating if it kept asking you riddles, but a hieracosphinx, with a falcon head and a lion body, might be cool since it can fly. As long as it didn’t snap my legs off.
