Our trip to Bodmin Moor

Name: Noah and Sam “In the Christmas holidays we climbed to the top of Brown Willy on Bodmin Moor, the highest point in Cornwall. It is 420 metres above sea level. On our trip we also climbed Rough Tor, which is 400 metres. The moors are not inhabited because the ground is marshy and wet a lot of the time and because of that you can see for miles and miles (pictured). It was a great feeling when we got to the top after the hours of climbing. Noah placed his stone on the cairn (a cairn is a pile of rocks at a significant place) at the top, making it the highest stone in Cornwall. We would recommend a trip to Bodmin Moor, though be prepared for some mud!”…
