Shaan Dulay says people need to get outdoors.

Making small changes in our lives can make big changes to our world, says environmental campaigner Shaan Dulay, who is nine years old. Dulay, from Walsall in England’s West Midlands, has been chosen by the Wildlife Trusts for Birmingham and the Black Country to be its first ever young ambassador. The charity, which aims to improve the environment and raise awareness of wildlife issues, asked Dulay to help because young people are more likely to join in if they are inspired by other young people. “It makes a difference when it’s the person who sits next to you in class,” Dulay tells The Week Junior.
