Funky shapes from frozen hair

At a hot springs spa in Yukon, Canada, people dip their hair in water and then let it freeze into funky shapes. As their hair freezes, people sit in the naturally warm water from underground springs. The pastime has even become a competition called the International Hair Freezing Contest. In recent years, winners have been given cash prizes and helped achieve a Guinness World Record for the most people taking part in a frozen hair competition. Organisers are hoping for a cold winter this year – last winter, temperatures didn’t get low enough to hold the event. It must be-20°C or lower for it to go ahead.…
