What is the smallest animal at the zoo?

One of our smallest animals is a fish called the white cloud mountain minnow. These tiny fish are 2.2 to 2.6 millimetres in body length when they first hatch and they grow to around four centimetres as adults. A freshwater fish, it comes from China and is classed as endangered by the Chinese government. Work is being done to reintroduce more white cloud mountain minnows back into the wild.
