A humongous flower display

A team of gardeners and florists at Cotehele, a National Trust property in Cornwall, England, have created a stunning display featuring around 30,000 flowers. The National Trust is a charity that looks after areas of countryside and historic buildings, and all the flowers used in Cotehele’s Christmas garland (a hanging decoration) are grown in the gardens there and then carefully dried. This year’s garland, which has been a Christmas tradition since 1956, is more than 18 metres long and weighs around 120 kilograms. Cotehele’s head gardener Dave Bouch said it was “an amazing display”.…
