Some people say you should be able to watch a film in peace.
Is it ok to sing at the cinema?
It’s the run-up to Christmas and there has been plenty to see at the cinema, particularly for fans of musicals. Wicked, Moana 2 and Mufasa: The Lion King are all packed with feel-good songs. Wicked is based on a stage musical, which first opened at the theatre in 2003. Fans love the show’s songs, such as Popular and Defying Gravity. In fact, some people like the music so much they have started singing along in the cinema. Others in the audience have complained that it is ruining their experience – they want to enjoy the music in peace. Not everyone agrees. Dwayne Johnson, who is the voice of Maui in the Moana films, said he thinks people should sing in the cinema if they want to. What do you think?…
