Ad ban for unhealthy foods

The Government has announced rules to decide which food and drink products will face an advertising ban. From October 2025, a law will stop companies advertising unhealthy foods on television before 9pm. The ban will also apply to online adverts. To decide what can be advertised, products will be scored on how much fat, salt and sugar they contain.
