Storm prompts red warnings

People across the UK have been working together to clean up after Storm Darragh brought flooding and strong winds to some areas. Red weather warnings had been issued to the public. What happened? The storm hit the UK on 6 December and continued into the weekend. There were weather warnings across most of the UK before the storm arrived, telling people to be careful. A red warning was issued for parts of Wales and south-west England. This is the most serious weather warning, and it means there is a “risk to life”.
