A stylish grandmother

When Margret Chola from Zambia, Africa, got a visit from her granddaughter, a fashion stylist called Diana Kaumba, the pair decided to play a dressing-up game. Chola, who is in her 80s, put on some of her granddaughter’s clothes and struck poses around the farm where she lives. The pictures turned her into a star. The photos were part of what Kaumba called the “Granny Series”, and they quickly became popular on social media. Chola, who is now known as Legendary Glamma, said wearing the clothes made her feel “new and alive”. Kaumba has since been asked to style other people’s grandmothers.…
