Bringing nature back

Rewilding is happening in places all across the country.

Dogs have been given a special job at Railway Land Nature Reserve in Lewes, England. They are helping to rewild it. The furry assistants are given special backpacks with holes in them that are full of seeds. As the dogs go sniffing and exploring, the seeds fall out. This is just one example of rewilding happening across the world. What is rewilding? In general, rewilding aims to return stretches of land and oceans back to a more natural state. The goal is to create areas where nature is left to take care of itself with no (or very little) help from humans. It can be done in lots of different ways.
