A real-life “Transformer” robot

A real-life “Transformer” robot
Engineer Jonathan Tippett from Canada has built a giant robot he’s called “Prosthesis” – a mechanical suit more than three metres tall. Tippett spent seven years building it and was inspired by the Transformers films. It holds the record for the world’s largest exoskeleton (a skeleton that’s on the outside) on four legs. Using the Prosthesis suit increases a human’s strength by about 50 times. Tippett hopes the suit could help with things like farming, mining and search and rescue. Enjoy these stories?
