Name: Sean “This year I have scored a UK record amount of Accelerated Reader (AR) points. My school started using Accelerated Reader (AR) this year, which awards points for successfully reading and answering questions on the books you read. It also keeps a running total of the number of words you read. We choose books from the library and after reading them we sit an online quiz about the books we read and score AR points depending on the size and difficulty of the book and how well you do in the test. Over the school year 2023/24 I have accumulated 3,570 AR points, read just over 23 million words and 207 books.
