Should art galleries always be quiet?

Some people say they should allow more noise sometimes.

The UK’s galleries and museums are filled with precious art, culture and history. These places give people a chance to see these rare objects in real life and learn about them. Tradition has it that when people go to galleries and museums, they limit their conversations so as not to disturb other visitors. However, some people wonder if it is really necessary for visitors to stay very quiet, especially children. Art Fund has set up the Kids Aloud scheme. The idea is for museums and art galleries to create special time slots during the summer holidays when children can explore and express themselves in their own way.
