California, US Dogs take to the waves On 3 August, more than 6,000 people watched the World Dog Surfing Competition. There were 20 dogs competing and they were judged on how long they stayed on the board and whether or not they did any tricks. Some dogs surfed with a furry friend and others were joined by their owners. The top prize went to a labrador called Cacau.
