Early humans and dinosaurs

Scientists studying a site in Brazil found lots of dinosaur footprints next to human-made rock carvings. These don’t show that early humans and dinosaurs lived at the same time, but the scientists do think there is a special link between the human carvings (also known as petroglyphs) and the footprints, which were preserved in the rock from millions of years earlier. Leonardo Troiano, one of the authors of a new study, told New Scientist magazine that early humans might have thought the footprints were giant bird tracks, but it’s very hard to tell exactly what their carvings next to the footprints really mean.…
