Lake Como, Italy Motorbike drives on lake Last year, a daredevil defied the laws of nature by riding a motorbike 3.4 miles across the surface of Italy’s third-largest lake, Lake Como. Luca Colombo set a new world record for the longest distance travelled by motorbike on freshwater, and a video of the stunt has now gone viral. Colombo achieved the feat by attaching special waterskis to his bike and keeping his speed at about 47mph.
