What’s your favourite weekend activity? I love bird-watching and feeding the birds. There’s a bunch of robins in the forest near my house that are very tame and will eat out of your hand if you’re still and quiet enough. I’d like to write a story about them one day. What gave you the idea to write this book? I wanted to show the power of friendship and the joy of celebrating who we are. We can all think of a time when we’ve felt like we don’t fit in, and I know we always want to help support our friends – even when taking on the grown-ups!
