Cinch NTRL Finals Turns 20 in Jacksonville

The East Coast's first million-dollar roping celebrates two decades.

If you ask former bull riding champ and jackpot king Mike White if he and his wife, Hannah, go to Jacksonville, Florida, from time to time for the Cinch NTRL Finals, White says no—they drive the 15 hours out there every single time. The Whites, of DeKalb, Texas, never miss the Jacksonville event, coming Jan. 22-26, 2025, for several reasons. One is the first-class facility where you rope all three preliminary steers back-to-back in three separate arenas. Another is the weather and location—what's not to love about roping on a gorgeous 70-degree day 30 minutes from the beach? But mostly, it's the quality of the cattle.
