But it happens when we put ourselves in less-than-ideal situations, and we have to use our ropes to overcome them. HOW CROSSFIRING HAPPENS To me, 90% of crossfiring is set up by riding the corner incorrectly—not trying to cheat the run. A lot of times, as a heeler, you might read the situation wrong and be left with only making something work with your rope as an option.
