With his warm smile, West Country lilt, and easy way with people and the camera, Tom Kerridge feels more like an old friend than one of Britain’s most famous Michelin-starred chefs. Browse any bookshop or flick through your TV channels and you’ll soon encounter his beaming face and if you visit one of his pubs, restaurants or food festivals, you’re likely to encounter him in person. With a new book and accompanying TV series, three festivals and his day job managing six pubs and restaurants, Kerridge is spinning a lot of plates this year.
