WATER MARBLING About as much fun as you can have with a cocktail stick. PROUDLY HOMEMADE You will need: A shallow tray that your paper comfortably fits in to Distilled water (at room temperature) Scrap paper or newspaper Protective gloves 3–5 colours of pre-mixed marbling inks (we used Marabu Easy Marble Marbling Paints, available from greatart.co.uk) Cocktail sticks Paper (something slightly heavier than printer paper works best) 1 Make a water bath using your tray: the water doesn't need to be that deep, around 5–7cm, and roomtemperature distilled water gives the best results. Skim the water's surface with scrap paper or newspaper to remove any lint or dust. 2 Wearing gloves, cover the bath evenly with your first ink colour, then work in the other colours.
