PETER WIN runs his financial company from his office at home in Shoreditch. He travels a lot for work, often bringing back treasures to add to his interior. Bored of its plain white interior and itching for a change, Peter Win was on the brink of selling his 18th-century warehouse flat in Shoreditch, East London. Fortunately, a timely visit to interior designer Abigail Ahern’s shop nearby made him reconsider. Rather than move, he decided to rethink his existing space, introducing elements he had seen there. “Abigail’s use of solid, dark hues was totally different to anything I had seen before,” says Peter. “I loved the drama and magic of her interiors.” Her distinctive style combines moody, subdued colour schemes with startling colour accents and witty elements introduced in soft furnishings and idiosyncratic objects.…
