We joined flower presser (and regular contributor to The Simple Things) Vanessa Grzywacz in her garden to find out how she spends her day in cuppas.

Morning! Tell us about your first cuppa. It's made with mint from the garden. Do you have a morning routine? It starts with a dog walk in the local woods, sometimes followed by a quick ‘run’ as I've signed up for a charity 10K. Then it's home to work, pressing flowers or making flower artwork. How did you end up doing that? I'm a freelance graphic designer, but I wanted another creative outlet. I'd pressed some flowers and made them into an artwork and then I sold some on Etsy – and Flower Press Studios was born. I love planting a flower, watching it grow, and turning it into something special. I also press bridal bouquets and special flowers that are a memento, such as when a loved one has passed away.
