An easy way to create a happy buzz
This very simple make will help keep bees wellwatered in warmer months. You'll need a shallow tray or container without any holes. Find a way to mount it in your garden – for example, securing it to an upside-down flower pot. Gather a collection of branches/twigs (nothing treated), or the likes of pebbles, marbles or old wine corks. Arrange around the container and add water (rainwater is best). The level needs to be close to, but not covering, your selection of branches etc to give bees somewhere to land, without slipping into the water and drowning.
