Wednesday is Lou Richardson's favourite day of the week. It's market day in Berkhamsted and, along with many other basketwielding shoppers, Lou enjoys nothing more than selecting her ripe veg, fresh fish and artisan bread from the stalls on the High Street, then strolling back along the Grand Union canal's towpath as narrowboats chug slowly past. This connection with nature fuels her day with inspiration as she heads back to her Scandinavian-inspired garden studio where she designs beautiful bespoke wedding stationery. Having lived and worked in London for many years, Lou was ready for a change and a slower pace of life.
