Singing is my passion. I sing in the bath and I warble in my car. I’ve sung at St Marks in Venice, I’ve sung on stage at the Royal Festival Hall. Most weekends I sing on stage as the lead singer in a country band. I also managed to bag my Grade 8 singing exam during lockdown, singing - quite alone - to my computer’s camera while a recorded piano bashed away in the background. But without doubt, the highlight of my week is singing loudly, and badly - along with my 12-year-old daughter - at our local community choir. We often don’t know what we’re doing and we laugh a lot.
