How do you put together your shopping lists? Are they scrawled off in the moment, using whatever you have to hand? Or are you more methodical, carefully ordering your list in relation to your planned movement around the shop? It's likely that once the list has served its purpose, it's not something you give much thought to. But Lucy Ireland Gray considers them something worthy of our attention and she's been collecting those abandoned by strangers for more than a decade now, with hundreds of examples currently displayed at London's Museum of Brands.
