“People are becoming so much more clued up about where their food comes from, and about seasonality, but when it comes to flowers, we forget all about those things,” says Lulu Cox (pictured above left). Alongside Jess Geissendorfer (above right), Lulu is one of the founders of SSAW Collective – standing for Spring Summer Autumn and Winter – which advocates for positive change in the provenance of our food and flowers. “I’d been working in floristry for maybe six or seven years,” says Jess, “but all the romance was being stripped away by the budgets, the waste and the plastic that we were using.
