I don't often get a chance to sit in the garden, so it always feels like an absolute treat. The table is an old apple crate – it's a very utilitarian object but I'm quite fond of it. It often puts in an appearance when we're entertaining in the garden and is great to balance a cuppa or cocktail on. This part of the garden is furthest away from the house, so I particularly enjoy the peace and quiet here.
