As a fair-weather girl, I can't think of a more joyful accessory than the beach bag. They exude good times and positivity and give me a spring in my step that somehow flies in the face of the hefty weight slung over my shoulder. A passion for travel – and a hoarder's instinct – has led me to amass many beach bags from different parts of the world. There's a pretty raffia bag from Bali, which I revelled in buying for less than £8 while Gucci (no less) was selling an almost identical one for nudging £900.
