PROUDLY HOMEMADE CYANOTYPE CUSHION This photographic technique can help capture the essence of summer. You will need: Photosensitive solution (you can buy cyanotype 2-part solution in art shops and online) Two pieces of cotton fabric (the size of the cushion inner) Fern leaves 1 sheet of glass slightly larger than the pieces of fabric 1 washing-up bowl (or large sink) filled with water Cushion inner Sewing kit 1 Take the piece of fabric that you want to print (and will become the cushion front), and apply the photosensitive solution with a brush. The fabric will absorb the solution very quickly. When the fabric is saturated with solution, be careful of it dripping. 2 Place the fabric somewhere warm and dark to dry – make sure you protect the floor where you hang the fabric. Allow…
