First, full disclosure: I haven't worn a bikini since 1991. My tum has not seen the sun for some time. A cossie, however, has accompanied me on adventures round the globe, weekends away, impromptu wild swims and the odd hot tub dip. They hold some of my best travel memories; jumping into an inky sea dotted with phosphorescence in the Canaries, looking up from a pool into the spray-misted heights of a waterfall in South America. Not the same cossie, obviously, though I did wear one for so long it took a friend to point out that it was almost see-through by the end.
