“What would you normally do on a day off?” my Icelandic companion asked. I was in Reykjavik for work and had a day off before my flight home. I'd asked Gisli what I should do, the sights I should see. But his comment turned my perspective around. What if I spent my day in Reykjavik as I would at home, doing things I love and meeting people who think the same? I generally swim at the weekend.
