PROUDLY HOMEMADE HOT WATER BOTTLE COVERS Choose a cosy velvet, personalise with embossing or sew-on patches, and stay snug all winter. You will need: Hot water bottle Greaseproof paper Pencil and pen Velvet fabric Felt (optional) Pins Scissors Sewing machine Matching thread For an embossed cover: Stamp (we got ours from etsy.com) Water spray bottle Iron For a patch: Embroidered patch of your choice Needle and thread (to match the patch) 1 Take your hot water bottle and draw around it on greaseproof paper. Remove it and fold the paper in half, side to side. Neaten up your lines so it’s symmetrical. Draw lines from the top of the hot water bottle to the neck to make a more rounded shape. 2 Add a 3.5cm seam allowance to your template.…
