Roll up! Roll up! Here come the clowns… Now, be you a clown lover, or a bit of a disliker, it's worth taking a closer look, as one thing you may not have noticed is that every clown is different. We may think of the bulbous red noses and round mouths, the diamonds over the eyes or the freckles on the cheeks, but clown code means every clown must have a look that's all their own. And how do you know what's already been taken by another performer? Simple, you refer to the Clown Egg Registry, a collection of eggs – both chicken and ceramic – which faithfully depict the make-up, clothes, accessories and wigs of every clown.
