Nestling between London’s ‘super-hip’ Dalston and ‘ever chic’ Islington is a leafy area of Hackney called De Beauvoir Town, which Midlands-born Stephen Nash and his wife Miranda May feel incredibly lucky to call home. It’s here that the couple have transformed a once dark and dated Victorian semi-detached house into a contemporary and flexible family home filled with inherited pieces and vintage finds. “Miranda had a flat in this neighbourhood and I’d also lived here previously, so we both knew the area well,” explains Stephen, interior designer and creative director at All & Nxthing Interiors.
