All about the base
If you want to weave your own, you can buy willow in garden centres or plant nurseries. Or buy your base from a garden centre. I cover them with damp moss to keep the foliage fresh. Tie twine to the base, then place a handful of moss onto the structure and wrap the twine around to secure it. Don't cut the twine. Place the next handful of moss and secure it. Continue around the wreath.
Foliage and frills
Gather fir, holly, ivy and other evergreens and cut to a workable size that will fit on your wreath. First make mini bunches of mixed stems. Place the first mini bunch onto the base with the stems pointing inwards and secure with the twine. Again, don't cut the…
