FESTIVE CENTREPIECE CANDLE Bring a welcoming glow with this extra-large candle, made by upcycling a ceramic serving dish. You will need: 800g soy wax flakes 64ml of any woody fragrance/ essential oil blend (we used cedarwood, oak and teakwood) Glazed ceramic dish, 34cm diameter Metal jug Saucepan Wooden spoon or spatula Marker pen Wick stickers (or a glue gun) 12 × Eco 12 wicks, or similar Masking tape Lollipop sticks (to act as wick positioners) Digital thermometer Piston funnel (optional) 1 Place the wax in the metal jug and melt using a double boiler, or bainmarie (do this by placing the jug into a saucepan half-filled with water and heat until simmering).
